Bare with me for a sec. I am funds feet to the soap. I promise. But...
1st, I need to say that I don't really care for too much girly scents, I'm not a fan of the floral-ly smells. I HATE/DESPISE the smell of rose and I don't like ANY "common" smells. I don't wanna walk in my house and it smell like EVERY other girls house. Same w my perfumes, laundry stuff, air freshners, bla bla bla.
A lot of that common/popular stuff I did like when I got my 1st apartments but now i prefer more "elegant" or unique or just more.... manly.
A cheap air freshener that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that's def NOT that girly, powdery, floral, fruity, linen.. ANY of those DAMN COMMON smells is, simply...WOOD. By Febreeze. I am obsessed w GAIN so just about everything I always go back to is Gain in some form. I keep one of these in my room and in the living room. Every time I make the bed, I spray the bed and the canopy curtains w it. Every time I fluff the couch pillows I give it a spritz as well as the back of the couch and my big ass chair next to my desk (not the leather desk chair)
I use the sprays, detergents, dryer sheets, softeners, plug ins, even my Swiffer wet jet solution etc but not gonna take a picture of every item. U get the point. Im obsessed but a smell that's even BETTER than that, that's MANLY smelling if u want a NICE smelling home that isn't girly or COMMON smelling, ITS this FEBREEZE...WOOD. It's even better than the cashmere woods candles/sprays, etc. It's not expensive either. It's really noticeable and ... NICE.
Highly recommend.
NOW, about that SOAP. It is actual BAR soap and, no, not Dr Squatch ...lol. Even though there's quite a few good smelling ones in that line too.
THIS SOAP here got my attention and I BOUGHT IT. This particular one is not the GREATEST smell but was the ONLY one in person where I was. Theyre selling out. Fast.
Let me start by 1 of the things that drew me in
1. Its a big ASS bar of soap. The SIZE, that and the fact they actually wrote ASS on the packaging (above pic)
This is HOW BIG it is side by side of a normal 3 oz bar soap. Some soaps are even smaller than the safeguard like Dove, etc. It's SO BIG.
2. They donate to veterans from their sales.
See the top - "In appreciation of the men and women who have served our country....." - they donate a portion of proceeds to veterans causes.
3. Duke Cannon's idea of a good night statement on the box. I love it.
If you can't read that and don't feel like zooming in, i wrote it here:
☆● Duke Cannon's idea of a great night does not involve going to that fancy vegan juice bar downtown or binge-watching vampire dramas on the Internet. No, Duke Cannon's perfect night is under a starry sky, by the light of a glowing campfire, where stories are told without emojis and memories are made without selfies ●☆
Each scent has a diff but similar saying, just more specific to the scent of the soap
There's definitely way better ones than the campfire. If you'd like to read actual MEN reviews on amazon of the Duke Canon Soaps, go HERE!
It will say which scent the person purchased under their name but above their review. It isn't cheap but u figure most bar soaps are around $3-$4 and are a 3rd, even a 4th the size so I think it's pretty much the same price. Actually, 1 bar = 3 or 4 regular bars which would cost more.
Plus, Its MANLY smells and actually great quality.
So if you're a guy or like guy smelling stuff or need stocking stuffer ideas for a man, I think this would be perfect.
