WHO KEEPS THE RING?

Who keeps the ring?

  • The Buyer (it was in exchange for a MARRIAGE)

  • The receiver (it was a gift)

  • The buyer (if receiver is calling off wedding, changed mind, cheated, etc)

  • The receiver (is they didn't do anything wrong + buyer changed mind w/o reason)

  • SELL IT AND SPLIT THE MONEY ( both end in good terms in good faith no matter the reason or who)

If the relationship ends and the wedding is called off? Who should the ring go to? Should the wearer keep it or should it go back to the buyer

In most cases, the guy usually sits, keep it. Also, in most cases the woman just doesn't want it, doesn't want any reminder of anything and gives it back...or throws it at him. Also, in most cases the ring isn't THIS expensive. That's a lot of money. Personally, if I BOUGHT IT, I'd want it back and try and get my money back. If it was given to me, I'd also want ty keep that shit + get what I can from it.

This is really hard to answer because if the person who bought it, did wrong, called the wedding off for no actual good reason, that's kinda messed up and screams INDIAN GIVER to me and like maybe it was all just a show (show off) thing fully intending to never really go through but also if the woman had no real feelings or cheated or did something that warranted not deserving this commitment and very expensive ring, she doesn't deserve it and he should get it back.

My answer is ...it depends. A lot would have to be considered. It's not an easy black white answer but I just want to see other thoughts on this. Even if it's just a -

● the buyer gets it back.
● the wearer keeps it.

We have to remember though that every story has THREE sides. Both opposing sides as well as the whole, full side where nothing is omitted to make one look better or right. Even if somebody isn't lying and has "the receipts", there's almost always a key part just conveniently left out. I can send you a message saying, you're a bitch. You can screenshot that and say, look at this crazy lady just calling me a bitch out of nowhere for the famous "no reason" when somewhere else, or at another time, u was being a bitch to me but now u cone around, don't say anything, don't do anything... doesn't mean YOU'RE INNOCENT and that was unwarranted. Just a random example. People can be very smart and cunningly deviousand talk a good talk especially if the person they're referring to has a reputation for whatever it is they're blasting.

So.....a lot needs to be considered IMO.
